Sir Keir Starmer, alongside the Chancellor Rachel Reeves and his deputy PM Angela Rayner, made the bombshell announcement on Friday evening.

It is understood it was used to buy clothing for work such as suits.Ms Reeves did declare four donations from Ms Rosenfield but did not explicitly say the money was spent on clothing.The Chancellor’s team have checked with the parliamentary authorities and believe this is in line with the rules,

Sir Keir Starmer will no longer accept donations to pay for clothing, according to reports. The PM came under fire after accepting work clothing donations worth £16,200, and multiple pairs of glasses, to the value of £2,485. Deputy PM Angela Rayner and Chancellor Rachel Reeves will also reportedly turn down donations for clothing.
