The rapper, 41, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Sept. 15, to share a lengthy message with fans about her plans to cancel the release of a Pink Friday 2 deluxe edition and instead fold some of that album's music, plus entirely new material, into a different album titled Pink Friday 3.

The Pink Friday 2 deluxe is being scrapped. That's because Nicki Minaj is blessing fans with Pink Friday 3. Minaj was going to deliver the PF2: Gag City Reloaded deluxe edition last week, but that has pivoted into the release of Pink Friday 3.

A few weeks ago, Minaj informed fans that she’d be dropping the Gag City Reloaded deluxe edition of Pink Friday 2, and even teased fans with snippets of new songs. However, the music icon scrapped that idea and announced a forthcoming Pink Friday 3 album instead.
