Asian countries, including the northern and northeastern parts of Thailand, are facing a difficult situation. Recent floods have affected more than 30,000 families in 12 provinces of the country. Typhoon Yagi is raging in Asia.

The adverse weather, which comes in the wake of Typhoon Yagi - the most powerful storm in Asia this year, has impacted about 9,000 households in Thailand, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said.

At least four people were killed and thousands were stranded in Thailand as Typhoon Yagi and the monsoon rains caused severe flooding in the north.
