Day three of any Test is said to be a moving day and the first of the two Tests between India and Bangladesh at the Chepauk in Chennai. The home side cemented their dominance in the first two days, resulting in a mammoth lead of 308.

India reached 81 for three at stumps in second innings to extend their overall lead to 308 runs against Bangladesh on the second day of the opening Test here on Friday. Shubman Gill (33 not out) and Rishabh Pant (12 not out) were at the crease when the stumps were drawn for the day.
