Tiger Woods has earned the right to do what he wants with his life, even if it requires one back surgery after another.

Tiger Woods underwent successful back surgery, he announced on Friday, after repeated back spasms and pain contributed to his injury-marred season.

Tiger Woods announced Friday that he underwent a successful microdecrompression surgery in his lower back to alleviate spasms which hindered him in 2024. This marks Woods' sixth back procedure and his first since early 2021 when he had a microdisectomy to remove a pressurized disc fragment that caused nerve pain.
