TALLAHASSEE - A non-profit advocacy group has filed a federal lawsuit challenging the state's process of verifying voter registration applications, alleging it violates federal laws.

It's National Voter Registration day, a nonpartisan action day to mobilize voter registration across the United States. Although it is important to register to vote in every state, as House, Senate, and down-ballot races will be decided across the country,
